Import Analyst
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated person to join our logistics team as an Import Analyst. This role is designed for someone eager to launch a career in international trade. You will play a vital role in ensuring our products move smoothly across borders, maintaining compliance with customs regulations, and helping us optimize our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
As an Import Analyst, you will learn the ropes of global trade by assisting with:
● Documentation Management: Review and organize essential shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading.
● Customs Compliance: Assist in classifying products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and ensure all entries meet U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements.
● Shipment Tracking: Monitor the status of international shipments from origin to destination, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
● Data Analysis: Use data analytic tools to track freight costs, lead times, and vendor performance to help identify areas for cost savings.
● Communication: Act as a liaison between the company, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve minor clearance delays.
● Audit Support: Assist in post-entry audits to ensure duty payments and valuations are 100% accurate.
Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
● Skills:
○ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(ability to use VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables is a major plus).
○ Strong analytical skills with an eagle eye for detail—missing a single digit on a form matters in this world!
○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Mindset: A "problem-solver" attitude.
○ Ability to manage multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat.
○ Genuine interest in global trade, geopolitics, or logistics.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
