Job Title: Shipping ClerkLocation: Clifton, NJPay Rate: $24 - $27 per hourEmployment Type: Direct HireWork Model: On-SitePosition OverviewTreetop Staffing is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established precision manufacturing organization in Clifton, New Jersey. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and safe shipment of finished goods while supporting overall production and logistics operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and pack finished goods for shipmentCreate and verify shipping documents (packing slips, bills of lading, labels, etc.)Coordinate pickups with carriers and freight companiesInspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and qualityEnter shipping data into ERP/WMS systemsMaintain inventory of packaging and shipping suppliesKeep the shipping area organized, safe, and efficientSupport receiving and warehouse operations as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience5+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics (manufacturing environment preferred)Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ExcelExperience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlinesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsForklift certification or experience is a plusWork EnvironmentManufacturing setting with exposure to shipping and warehouse operationsMust follow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsTreetop Staffing partners with leading manufacturing organizations to identify dependable professionals who thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.
