Sr. Manager, SEC and Technical Accounting

Key ResponsibilitiesThis position manages the Company's external reporting process, provide support on technical accounting issues, and develop accounting policies. This includes: Preparation and review of the quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings with the SEC, as well as other required filings (8-K, Proxy, etc.) Assist with the completion of all disclosure information. Implement and maintain procedures and calendars to ensure the timely accumulation and preparation of information necessary to satisfy financial reporting requirements for external and internal stakeholders Research and interpret new U.S. GAAP pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements. Assess and document their impact on the Company's financial statements, disclosures and reporting processes Prepare and review of financial information in press releases Draft technical accounting memos Drive process improvement in our external reporting processes. Optimize our Oracle ERP and Workiva software platforms Support other corporate accounting areas such as tax and stock-based compensation Support external and internal audit process Minimum Requirements7+ years relevant accounting experience including 5+ years with a large public accounting firm Certified Public Accountant & accredited bachelor's degree in accounting Demonstrated experience and ability to perform technical accounting research, write effective position papers, and communicate appropriate accounting treatment Extensive knowledge and application of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for U.S publicly traded companies Schedule and availability must be able to satisfy the demands of the role and the organization Other QualificationsStrong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills Excellent organization and execution skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to successfully multi-task, manage multiple projects, and produce high quality deliverables that meet deadlines Ability to navigate technical accounting and internal control guidance in order to implement practical solutions Strong analytical and planning/project management skills Demonstrated advanced financial system experience and passionate about business excellence and continuous improvement Telecom experience a plus Advanced Intermediate excel proficiency (i.e. modeling, complex formulas, report development, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/XLOOPUP, IF statements, etc.)
