Their portfolio includes roadway construction, underground utilities, earthwork, drainage, and municipal improvements across the Greater Houston area.Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join their team.Key ResponsibilitiesReview plans, specifications, and bid documents for public and private civil projectsPerform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, paving, and drainageSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricingPrepare competitive and accurate cost estimates and bid proposalsCollaborate with project managers and operations teams during preconstructionAttend pre-bid meetings and site visits as neededTrack bid results and maintain estimating databaseQualifications3+ years of estimating experience in civil constructionExperience bidding private or public sitework requiredStrong knowledge of Houston-area subcontractors and suppliersProficiency xaygatp in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid or similar)Strong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple bids simultaneouslyCompensationCompetitive base salary ($80K–$120K DOE)Performance-based bonusHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offLong-term growth opportunities with a stable, expanding contractor
