Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research and Development Product Development Engineer located in Southington, CT. The role involves designing and developing innovative medical products, conducting product testing and validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and quality assurance. Additional responsibilities include developing prototypes, creating technical documentation, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Product Development Engineer will play a vital role in driving advancements in IV therapy technologies to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients. Qualifications Proficiency in mechanical and/or biomedical engineering principles, materials science, and product designExperience with CAD software, prototyping, and testing methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and validationUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for medical device development, such as ISO and FDA standardsEffective collaboration and communication skills for teamwork across diverse departmentsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlinesBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in medical device product development is an advantage
