Monitors all inventory discrepancies and reconciles differences.Provides new warehouse staff with proper training, which includes hands-on training, safety education, job-aids and RF scanner training.Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for continuous inventory cycle-count and yearly physical inventory. Evaluates investigate bin and reconcile by the end of each month. Report high value materials to the management team for immediate disposition. Recommend and implement improvements to the inventory cycle count process. Analyze discrepancy patterns and determine root cause using S4 HANA and Excel. Communicate issues and solutions to management team on a regular basis for immediate improvement Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department assistant manager. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence Routinely enter and extract data from the appropriate computer system/software Adhere to warehouse quality control guidelines and standards Drive forklift in a safe manner, ensuring loads are stable and secure Maintain an orderly work environment by ensuring general maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas General housekeeping which includes sweeping, dusting, and mopping Support co-workers in other departments as needed Inform Manager of all noteworthy activities Follow safety guidelines and department and corporate policies and procedures AuthorityN/AJob Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesWorking knowledge of packaging methods and ability to determine packaging requirements Ability to compile datasets into Excel spreadsheet to troubleshoot issues, report trends, and validate corrective action. Ability to follow standard work instructions; be reliable and punctual Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines, maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards assignments, and maintain level of organization in a changing and fast paced environment Good command of the English language, both written and verbal Ability to comprehend a variety of instructions, both oral and written Good oral and written communication skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals, capable of understanding weights and measures Basic knowledge of word processing. Strong knowledge of computerized inventory system Ability to operate fork lift trucks Experience with UPS/FEDEX, DHL online software is desirable SAP experience Ability to operate telephone, copier, fax machines, and other general office equipment Education and TrainingHigh school graduate or equivalent 3 - 5 years prior warehouse experience and computerized inventory tracking Physical DemandsWalking, stooping, bending, and reaching for long periods of time with some sitting Frequent pushing and pulling of objects Dexterity to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists Movement by holding, turning, and grasping of objects Extending hands in any direction Ability to drive a car Ability to climb step ladder up to 15 feet Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds Ability to hear normal conversations on phone or in person Ability to see more than 20 feet Ability to see color and see/read computer screen Work EnvironmentWork is primarily performed in a warehouse where the worker is subject to temperature changes Regular exposure to vibration, fumes, gases, and proximity to moving mechanical parts Handling of potentially dangerous chemicals or other substances Noise level ranges from moderate to very loud Tools and EquipmentForklift truck, hand pallet jack, label machine, packing machine, computer, and calculator Steel toed shoes are required at all times Required SkillsRequired Experience
