26-27 DCIS Part TimeTesting Coordinator

Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the High School Testing Coordinator provides coordination and support for the administration of the assessment programs.Essential Functions Serve as the primary liaison between the high school and the District/System Test Coordinator for all state and district-mandated assessments. Develop, maintain, and communicate master testing schedules for all testing programs and other required testing windows. Testing includes, but is not limited to: proficiency exams, CCRA, PreACT, ACT Bootcamp program, ACT, WIDA Access, WIDA, OAAP, ASVAB, and AP. Coordinate all logistics for test administration, including room assignments, staffing needs, secure material distribution/collection, and day-of-testing support. Maintain accurate student testing records, including eligibility, 504/IEP accommodation needs, enrollment changes, test assignments, and participation requirements. Manage testing accommodations by verifying documentation and ensuring students are correctly entered/coded in the testing platform(s). Create, verify, and distribute testing tickets/materials, ensuring accommodations and settings are accurate prior to each testing session. Train and support school staff on testing procedures, ethical practices, test security, and required documentation. Ensure compliance with all testing protocols, including test security procedures, ethical testing standards, and state/district timelines. Monitor testing progress and communicate updates to school administration, including participation rates, completion status, and score reporting timelines. Provide technical support for assessment platforms, including troubleshooting and staff assistance. Support assessment data use and reporting, including assisting with disaggregation of results and creating visuals/summaries to support instructional decision-making. Maintain clear and organized documentation of trainings, testing records, and required compliance materials; complete other duties as assigned by the Principal.Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.Note: The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. Knowledge of English grammar, word usage, word denotations and connotations, spelling, writing, and mathematics. Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students. Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed. Ability to organize and coordinate work. Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work. Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.Education Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. Masters Degree preferred.Experience Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
