Hotel Housekeeper

Do you love transforming spaces into spotlessly clean sanctuaries? We're hiring a professional housekeeper to help us ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay with us. You'll perform basic cleaning duties like making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, and ironing; you'll also restock supplies and make sure restrooms and common areas are clean and orderly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team.Responsibilities:Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assignedKeep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with suppliesDocument rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs neededRespond to general inquiries from guestsPerform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arriveCORE WORK ACTIVITIESRespond promptly to requests from guests and other departmentsFill the cart with supplies and transport the cart to the assigned areaEnter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before enteringReplace guest amenities and supplies in roomsReplace dirty linens and terry with clean itemsClean bathroomsRemove trash, dirty linen, and room service itemsCheck that all appliances are present in the room and in working orderStraighten desk items, furniture, and appliancesDust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishingsFollow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materialsEnsure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary informationWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciationSpeak with others using clear and professional languageSupport team to reach common goalsEnsure adherence to quality expectations and standardsMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistanceReach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeAttention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personalityAvailable to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by the SupervisorsQualifications:Good understanding of cleaning techniques and productsMust have graduated high school or received an equivalent certificationHard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skillsAt least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferredAbout Company:We invite you to join us at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in beautiful Kalispell, MT.
