Floor Technician

Unique Cleaning Service, Inc. is in search of Floor Technicians to serve one of our clients in Tuskegee, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpeted areas including scrubbing, waxing, stripping, sealing, buffing, and vacuuming in a hospital or clinic setting. We are looking to fill this position with candidates that are detail and service oriented. Duties: Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Strip, wax, and buff hard floors as needed to maintain a polished appearance. Shampoo and extract carpets to remove dirt, stains, and odors. Apply appropriate sealers and finishes to floors. Safely operate and maintain various floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and floor machines. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to OSHA standards and company policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 1 year of prior experience in floor care and maintenance . High School Diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Must be a self starter, punctual and reliable person willing to be a team player at all times. Nationwide background check that includes fingerprinting. Lifting of heavy supplies and materials. Experience operating large motorized housekeeping equipment. Stripping and waxing floors experience.
