In this role, you'll play an important part in preparing tissue samples and ensuring slides are ready for pathologists to review and diagnose. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in healthcare or laboratory work, no prior lab experience required. We'll provide the training you need to succeed.What You'll DoSupport Lab OperationsAssist with receiving and accessioning specimensHelp with daily operations across multiple lab areas (Immunofluorescence, Light Microscopy, and Electron Microscopy)Prepare materials and setup for the next day's workSlide & Sample ManagementOrganize slides by case and pathologist using trays and foldersDeliver slides accurately and on time to pathologistsAssist with slide filing and maintaining organized recordsMaintain Lab EnvironmentClean, set up, and maintain lab equipment and workspacesSupport inventory tracking and supply managementGeneral SupportAssist with various lab needs to keep operations running smoothlyTake on additional tasks as neededWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word; some Excel preferred)Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learnWhy Arkana LabsHands-on experience in a clinical laboratory settingOpportunity to grow within healthcare and lab operationsTeam-oriented, supportive environmentMeaningful work that contributes to patient careAdditional DetailsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PMLocation: Onsite in Little Rock, ArkansasEmployment contingent on background check and drug screeningWhat we offer: We know that health is more than doctor visits and life is more than work.
