Sales Manager
Club Location:Hunt Valley Country Club - Phoenix, MDResponsible for partnering with the Sales Director to execute the sales process from initial inquiry to closing the sale in order to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition. The product line for this role will be Private Events.Primary Responsibilities include the following:Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and executes sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing ratesManage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM systemConduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase salesEstablish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts as assigned by the Sales Director and sales planDrive lead generation through cold-calling and business developmentAccurately forecasts revenues and tracks bookingsQualifications:Minimum two years of commissioned sales experience preferredProven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new businessStrong prioritization, planning and organizational skillsAbility to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSets high goals and continuously strives for excellenceEffectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to actionBachelor's degree from four-year College or University
