Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit rural healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota.Full time (.8) position available along with PRN positions.$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS WITH 2-YEAR COMMITMENTWage Range is $30.50-$45.00/hourJob SummaryThis position will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the technical direction of the radiologist.Other Responsibilities IncludeProduce two or three-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physicians in the diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organsKey test data and patient information into the computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain a record of test resultsOperate the department computer system for scheduling and billing proceduresOperate PACS system to ensure all images are verified and sentShare call responsibilities in UltrasoundMaintain supply inventoryReport equipment malfunction to the Radiology Director, and reports safety concerns to appropriate personnelBenefitsPrairie Lakes Healthcare System offers comprehensive benefits for qualifying full-time and part-time employees.
