Ground Segment Systems Engineer (El Segundo, CA)

You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government on space, ground, and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to maximum success. You Have:15+ years of experience leading or supporting system-level test programs for DoD space or ground software systemsExperience developing and executing integrated test strategies across developmental test (DT), integration test, system test, and operational test (OT)Experience in ground systems engineer, RF/comms/network engineeringMission area experience such as Missile Warning and/or relay ground stationsExperience writing/deriving requirements, authoring/editing ICDs,reviewing technical documentation and providing feedbackExperience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and sustainmentExperience supporting DoD acquisition programs and milestone reviewsKnowledge of systems engineering life-cycle processes, including requirements development, integration, verification, validation, and configuration managementAbility to communicate clearly and provide senior leadership with objective readiness assessments and risk insightsSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in a STEM field Nice If You Have:Experience leading agile software programs or test campaigns for agile software programsExperience with Cameo preferredExperience with physical and virtual networkingKnowledge of ground systems equipment engineering processesKnowledge of missile warning mission and SBIRSExperience supporting ground segment integration testsAbility to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentExperience with test automation, modeling and simulation, or digital engineering environmentsTS/SCI clearanceMaster’s degree in a STEM-related field Travel:Travel may be required to sites located across the United States Salary Range:$96,352 - $206,189 Clearance:Secret Clearance QUALITY: GreenDart is committed to quality throughout all our efforts, as defined in our Quality Policy and implemented in our Quality Management System.
