Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and ensuring the smooth operation of our data infrastructure using Snowflake’s cloud data platform. The candidate should have extensive experience in cloud-based data warehousing, ETL processes, and performance tuning.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop data pipelines using Snowflake to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting solutions.Implement data ingestion, transformation, and extraction processes using tools such as SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and external ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).Optimize and tune Snowflake queries for performance and scalability.Develop and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).Design and implement security measures such as data masking, user roles, and access controls in Snowflake.Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and deliver on data needs.Create and maintain documentation for Snowflake design and development practices.Integrate Snowflake with other data management tools and technologies.Perform data migrations from traditional databases to Snowflake.Ensure the integrity and quality of the data through validation and testing processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer/Developer, with at least 1 year specifically working on the Snowflake platform.Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and performance optimization techniques.Experience with SQL for querying and managing data within Snowflake.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating Snowflake with cloud ecosystems.Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools like Informatica, Talend, Matillion, etc.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.Experience with version control tools such as Git.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for detail.
