🚨 Hiring: Electrical / Electronics Engineer II📍 El Segundo, CA (Onsite)💲 Pay Rate: $43–55/hr. (Higher based on experience)📅 Contract: Approx. 6 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer II to support FAA National Airspace Systems projects under the T5 Program. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical aviation infrastructure and communications systems projects alongside FAA engineers.🔧 Key Responsibilities:• Support FAA communications and infrastructure engineering projects• Conduct site surveys and assess rack space, cable routing, power, and thermal loading• Design layouts for NEXCOM receivers, transmitters, APC gateway units, and communication equipment• Develop copper, coax, and fiber optic cabling designs• Support equipment installation, verification, Joint Acceptance Inspections (JAI), and turnover activities• Prepare engineering packages, technical reports, and transition/cutover plans• Collaborate with FAA engineers on technical designs, schedules, and implementation activities✅ Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field• 5+ years of experience in electronics, communications, or infrastructure engineering• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents• Familiarity with engineering codes and standards• U.S. Citizenship required• Ability to pass FAA Public Trust background check⭐ Preferred Experience:• FAA National Airspace Systems (NAS)• Aviation communication systems• NEXCOM, APC gateway units, or FAA infrastructure• Copper, coax, and fiber optic cabling• Bluebeam or similar markup software• Federal or aviation infrastructure projects✈️ Travel: Up to 20% travel (West Coast, possible Hawaii)If you or someone in your network is interested, please send your updated resume to Shreekant.patidar@lancesoft.com
