Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Step DownLocation: Bronx, NYUnit: ICU Step DownShift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMPatient Ratio: 1:4 (Young Adult to Geriatric)About the Role:Seeking an experienced RN for the ICU Step Down unit to provide specialized care for high-acuity patients transitioning from intensive care.Key Responsibilities:Monitor patients requiring ventilators, tracheostomies, cardiac monitors, feeding tubes, and cathetersPerform frequent patient assessments and escalate condition changes appropriatelyRespond to rapid response and cardiac arrest situationsProvide specialized care for step-down level patientsAdminister medications and treatments per physician ordersMaintain accurate patient documentationCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsEnsure patient safety and quality care standardsRequirements & Preferred Skills:Minimum 2 years ICU or Medical/Surgical Step Down experience requiredMinimum 2 years IV insertion and phlebotomy experience requiredMinimum 2 years conscious sedation experience requiredAssociate Degree in Nursing requiredBachelor's degree preferredActive New York RN license requiredNYSED Primary Source Verification requiredAHA BLS and ACLS certifications requiredStrong critical care and patient assessment skillsAbility to work in high-acuity environmentsContact Information:For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.Company Description:
