Company Description Girls on the Run is a youth development program dedicated to fostering self-esteem, health, and confidence in young girls through physical activity and life skills education. Operating in Reno/Sparks, Carson City, Truckee, and the Tahoe Basin, the program includes a 10-week curriculum with a celebratory 5K fun run finale. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Events, Camp, and Program Coordinator based in the Greater Reno Area, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events and assist with program support, managing communications with participants and their families, and coordinating promotional and marketing activities. Additional responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring successful implementation of seasonal programs and camps. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience and skills in event planning and coordinationProficiency in event marketing and managing promotional activitiesBasic sales abilities and a proactive approach to community engagementStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in working both independently and as part of a teamPassion for youth development, health, and wellnessKnowledge of the Greater Reno Area and familiarity with the local community is a plus
