The company values skilled professionals who take pride in safety-focused, detail-oriented work.Role Description The Elevator Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Henderson, NV. This role is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on elevator systems, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and carrying out repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation. The Elevator Mechanic will respond to service calls, document all work performed, and adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures. Collaboration with supervisors, other technicians, and customers is expected to schedule maintenance, communicate findings, and minimize downtime. The role may involve occasional after-hours or weekend work to address urgent service needs.QualificationsStrong skills in elevator maintenance and maintenance & repair, with experience performing inspections, preventive service, and component replacement on elevator systems.Proficiency working with elevators and related mechanical systems, including familiarity with safety standards, local codes, and industry best practices.Working knowledge of electricity and basic electrical systems as they apply to elevator controls, motors, and safety circuits, including safe use of testing instruments.Ability to troubleshoot elevator performance issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely and safe manner.Relevant technical training, apprenticeship, or certification in elevator mechanics, electrical, or mechanical trades; licensure where required by local regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics, and to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and handle tools and equipment, while practicing safe lifting and ergonomic techniques.Strong communication and documentation skills to interact with team members and customers and to maintain accurate service records.Commitment to safety, reliability, and high-quality work, with a focus on customer service and minimizing equipment downtime.
