Staff Accountant

Soni is hiring on behalf of a client seeking a Staff Accountant to support their accounting team. This role is highly hands-on and will focus on day-to-day accounting activities, helping ensure accurate financials and keeping core processes on track. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.Role: Staff AccountantLocation: Murfreesboro, TN (fully onsite)Pay Range: $60–70kType: ContractResponsibilities:Support daily accounting operations with a focus on accuracy and timelinessPrepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenancePerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end close activities, including accruals and adjustmentsHelp manage accounts payable/receivable processes as neededMaintain organized financial records and supporting documentationAssist with audit support and other ad hoc accounting projectsQualifications:Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Murfreesboro, TN1–4 years of accounting experienceBasic understanding of GAAP principlesExperience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Detail-oriented with a willingness to jump in and support where neededCompensation: $60,000 - 70,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.#SONITN
