Computer Deployment Team

Job Title: IT Deployment Team MemberJob Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT Deployment Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, configuration, and support of laptops across various TDOT locations. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient deployment of technology assets while maintaining a high level of customer service.Key Responsibilities:Deliver, install, and configure computersPrepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deploymentMaintain accurate records of equipment deployment and statusTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotelyFollow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activitiesCommunicate effectively with end users and team membersMaintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areasTravel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses will be reimbursed by state guidelines)Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during deploymentsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plusPrior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferredStrong problem-solving and communication skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationWork Environment:Fast-paced, team-oriented environmentMay involve travel between multiple work locations across Tennessee (travel expenses reimbursed by state guidelines)
