Position will also assist with job site access, coordination, and daily deliveries. Operates truck in a safe and professional manner in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at various job sites to deliver products. Deliveries will be made in both commercial and residential areas.Wage Range: $27 to $31 per hour based on experienceKey Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)Initial New Hire Training for driver essential duties and responsibilitiesMaintains equipment in a safe and clean condition.Performs pre and post-trip truck and trailer inspectionsDrives truck to location for unloadingCleans truck after delivery to prevent buildup of materials on truckReview of driver safety scores and video events with documented coachingHost scheduled safety meetings & toolbox talksAnnual road tests of Agg/Asphalt & Transport Driver FleetRoutine vehicle audits for required maintenance and cleanlinessElectronic device training and troubleshooting.Monitor route efficiencies and truck counts.Keep up to date with FMCSA regulationsCDL Trainer.Smith Driver TrainerOther duties as directed by supervisor.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check. Report to the job site dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
