**Job Title:** Cook **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to our recipes and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts. - Follow recipes and presentation specifications. - Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. - Assist with inventory and restocking of ingredients. - Monitor food stock and place orders as needed. - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a cook. - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to stand for extended periods. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to withstand hot temperatures and work in a kitchen environment. **Education:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Culinary school training preferred but not required. **Benefits:** - Employee discounts on meals. - Flexible Schedules Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $14.28 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Physical Setting: Casual dining restaurant Shift: Day shift Evening shift Night shift People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Restaurant: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Spring Hope, NC 27882 (Required) Work Location: In person
