This role partners closely with the Life Enrichment Director and interdisciplinary team to create a vibrant, engaging community experience.Key ResponsibilitiesResident Programs & EngagementPlan, coordinate, and implement activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of residentsSupport resident satisfaction and retention through engaging, timely, and meaningful programmingEvaluate interests, abilities, and needs of new residents and reassess periodicallyDecorate common areas to reflect seasons, holidays, and special eventsEvent Coordination & OperationsCoordinate space, equipment, food, transportation, and staffing for activities and eventsEnsure activities and outings are conducted safely and in accordance with policiesAssist with driving residents to outings and events as neededSupport marketing events, open houses, and community celebrationsCollaboration & CommunicationWork collaboratively with department leaders, residents, families, and community partnersServe as a liaison between residents and leadership as appropriateMaintain a positive, professional presence and represent the community with warmth and hospitalityAdministrative & Budget SupportMaintain calendars, flyers, and activity documentationWork within department budget and assist with budget planning as neededParticipate in on-site training and ongoing professional developmentPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ year of experience in senior living, activities, recreation, hospitality, or a related field preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCreative, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to remain calm and solution-focused in changing situationsComfortable using basic computer tools (email, calendars, flyers, etc.)Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle recordCompassionate, energetic, and committed to enhancing residents’ livesAt Village Crossing, we’ve partnered with MemoMate, an AI-powered virtual interviewer, to make the first step in our hiring process simple, convenient, and engaging for all candidates.Solera Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
