TeqMobility believes that strong fleet performance starts with strong technology, and centers its work on keeping mobility businesses moving forward.Role Description The Databricks Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics workflows within Databricks to support fleet and rental operations. The analyst will work closely with our senior data scientist, product, operations, and engineering teams to translate business needs into data models, dashboards, and reports that guide decision-making. Daily responsibilities include extracting and transforming data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing queries and jobs for performance. The role also involves documenting data processes, presenting insights to stakeholders, and contributing to the continuous improvement of TeqMobility’s data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.QualificationsStrong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.Proficiency in data management and data analytics within Databricks.Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in business analysis, including gathering requirements and translating them into data solutions.Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language used for data (e.g., Python or Scala).Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and best practices for data quality and governance.Background in mobility, rental, logistics, mobility insurance or related industries is beneficial but not required.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
