POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Worker supports our company’s warehouse operations. Receives, inputs, sorts, loads and unloads products. Assists with receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory and final disposal of materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Receive goods and ensure accuracy Inspect products for defects and damages Operate forklift, pallet-jack, and other warehouse tools and machinery to move materials Pack and organize shipments Prepare shipping documents Organize stock and ensure a process flow of raw materials Perform inventory counts and cycle counts Maintain an accurate inventory of material Maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion Process freight requests and quotes Communicate with internal teams to ensure precise vendor delivery dates Assist with tracking freight with vendors and logistics partners from pick up to delivery Additional responsibilities and tasks assigned by the Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor or Director of Operations ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent 4+ years experience in Warehouse Operations Forklift certified Experience shipping via UPS/FedEx Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be a self-starter with the ability to resolve issues and research solutions Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask and prioritize demands Possess a positive attitude Willing and understanding of warehouse work conditions – hot/cold Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 55 lbs VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of HAZMAT shipping and storage; HAZMAT/Dangerous Goods certified Experience shipping dangerous goods via UPS/FedEx Experience with ERP systems REPORTING TO THIS POSITION None. The noise levels in some manufacturing facilities frequently may exceed the normal dBA. Work conditions may include elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to some mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be required to wear safety glasses and possibly hearing protection, as well as proper grounding equipment to eliminate the chance of electro-static discharge.
