Basic Qualifications Associate of Science degree in a STEM discipline OR 2+ years of equivalent experience. Operating and maintaining electronic equipment. Equipment and server/computer rack build and troubleshooting experience. Configuration control, inventory, and/or experience working in a system integration lab. Avionics systems troubleshooting experience.Job DescriptionYou will be the System Integration and Test Engineer for the Systems Integration Lab which is responsible for supporting and maintaining advanced simulation and display systems.What You Will Be DoingAs the System Integration and Test Engineer you will be responsible for on‑site daily operations, troubleshooting, configuration management, and support of test/simulation host computers, image generators, projectors, display systems, cockpit hardware, electronic interfaces, and mechanical assemblies. This role focuses on the FTW‑Man In‑The‑Loop Simulation Integration Labs.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeIntegrate, checkout, test, and modify system hardware and software; tune visual displays for color accuracy and alignment; ensure network connectivity.Perform system and facility security duties, manage assets, and oversee or run test events.Collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to support integration, schedule events, maintain equipment, and uphold configuration‑management and security policies.Coordinate facility‑maintenance and lab‑scheduling issues, and safely handle equipment up to 50 lb.What’s In It For You“We are committed to supporting your work‑life balance and overall well‑being, offering flexible scheduling options. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. Desired Skills Bachelor's of Science or Certification in AMT (Aviation Maintenance Technology program) or Airframe & Powerplant program. Direct experience supporting or knowledge of development laboratories and real-time simulation environments is highly desired. Experience with aircraft hardware, electronic interfaces, projection/display systems, audio systems, and mechanical assemblies. Experience in troubleshooting and operating avionics equipment and SIM aircraft cockpit hardware. Proficiency in avionics labs and electrical/electronic wiring in system integration lab environments, including reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
