In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.OverviewUnder supervision of Box Office Manager, the Box Office Attendant is responsible for ticket sales and customer service for all ticketed events at the Rio Rancho Events Center.This role pays an hourly rate of $13.50-$16.50Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until April 24, 2026.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes Ticketmaster software to process ticket salesFamiliarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, etc.)Know and understand seating charts and configurations of the RRECCommunicate and satisfy patrons with world class customer serviceProvides information to patrons regarding performances and ticket policiesOperate phone and address calls in patrons' requests for informationProjects professional appearance and mannerPerform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracyCollect proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back proper number of tickets and correct changeAssists in the enforcement of building policies for patronsReconcile all monies received from ticket salesMaintains accuracy in financial transactionsAccountable for transactions at his/her workMaintain confidentialityAdditional duties may be assigned by Box Office Manager or Box Office SupervisorQualificationsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Windows based computersPossess excellent customer service skillsExperience working with the public and cashAbility to work independently and as a productive member of a teamCapable of working a flexible schedule and extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays in addition to traditional business hoursMust be able to work in a loud noise environmentMust be over 18 years or olderStrong verbal communication skillsin the English language (Spanish is a plus)Proven ability to work well with all levels of managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
