Job DescriptionCDL DRIVERJob DutiesResponsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accountsMerchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of productsManages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each accountProvides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely mannerHonors all personal and business commitments to all customersOperates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulationsResponsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD’s collected and all related paperwork.Completion of daily DOT pre-trips and post-trips.Other duties as assignedEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid Driver License and DOT medical card requiredClear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years requiredPrevious driving and/or delivery experience preferredMust be at least 21 years of ageKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesMust have excellent customer service skillsRequires a strong attention to detailMust be able to meet company MVR standardExcellent communication skills with customers and co-workersMust demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectivelyAble to quickly learn product and account characteristicsMust be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problemsPhysical Demands And RequirementsRegular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hoursMay require sitting or standing for extended periods.Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistanceOccasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or without assistanceRequires pushing and pulling of loads up to approximately 350 lbs. with or without assistanceEnvironmental Conditions and TemperamentJob duties are performed in warehouse, at loading dock and inside and outside retail buildings.Exposure to outside weather (heat and cold), walk-in cooler temperatures, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels.Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.Compensation And BenefitsCompensation: $45,000-$48,500 per year(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)This position is eligible for the following benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Basic AD&D Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Spousal Life Insurance, Child Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401(k) with company match.The Company provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
