Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is partnering with a busy, well-established plaintiff law firm in the Dadeland area seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a high-performing legal team.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term stability, strong compensation, and a collaborative team culture.Position Overview The ideal candidate will provide direct support to two attorneys, managing all aspects of case files from inception through trial. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage deadlines, coordinate litigation activities, and ensure seamless case progression.Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain electronic case files from intake through trialDraft legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responsesHandle e-filing in state and federal courtsCoordinate and maintain attorney calendars with strict adherence to court deadlinesSchedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedingsFacilitate discovery process, including document production and trackingAssist with trial preparation and attendance (including out-of-town trials as needed)Organize exhibits, evidence, and trial materialsCoordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, transportation) for attorneysCommunicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally (primarily via phone and email)Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistantStrong background in plaintiff personal injury (PI) litigation requiredProven experience with trial preparation and courtroom supportProficiency in e-filing systems and legal case management softwareExceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on calendaring and deadline managementExcellent writing and communication skillsStrong computer proficiency and attention to detailAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (Spanish/English) preferredTeam-oriented with a positive, professional attitudeCompensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience; near six-figure potential)Annual bonusComprehensive benefits package including: Health insurancePaid time off401(k) planParking providedWhy This Opportunity?
