Behind every placement is our experienced operations team handling compliance, credentialing, and communication so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Night Shift RN!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Position Summary:\n - Become an integral part of our vibrant Emergency Department.\n - Provide exceptional care to patients with a wide array of medical conditions and injuries.\n - Thrive in a fast-paced environment, mastering the art of multi-tasking and quick assessments during acute illness or trauma.\n - Collaborate closely with the emergency room charge nurse and acute care nurse as directed.\n\n- Position Qualifications:\n - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.\n - Current licensure in good standing in California.\n - 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department nurse required.\n - Must hold certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR, and NRP.\n - TNCC required within one year of hire.\n\n- Position Responsibilities:\n - General Competencies:\n - Exhibit professional behavior consistently on duty and beyond.\n - Collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization.\n - Possess exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n - Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff.\n - Demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management.\n - Efficiently use office machines to enhance job performance.\n \n - Specific Competencies:\n - Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize according to immediate patient needs.\n - Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.\n - Execute treatments as ordered by physicians accurately and timely.\n - Skillfully perform tasks such as EKGs, blood draws, and IV starts.\n - Keep work areas and patient beds clean and well-stocked.\n - Provide engaging individualized education to patients and families.\n - Document patient assessments and care accurately and promptly.\n - Initiate emergency resuscitative measures per protocols.\n - Ensure confidentiality of patient and family information.\n - Offer care in a non-judgmental, culturally sensitive manner, respecting diversity and autonomy.\n - Adhere to safety and infection control standards.\n - Assist nursing staff in other departments when requested and qualified.\n - Take responsibility for delivering high-standard patient care.\n - Follow proper procedures for medication administration and narcotics control.\n\n- Professional Requirements:\n - Adhere to a professional dress code at all times.\n - Complete annual education requirements as applicable.\n - Maintain all relevant regulatory requirements.\n - Wear identification during working hours.\n - Participate actively in annual evaluations.\n - Punctuality and adherence to scheduled work times are essential.\n - Attend required meetings and comply with all regulatory guidelines.\n - Embody the mission, ethics, and values of the organization in your daily work.\n\n- Working Conditions:\n - Willingness to work flexible hours and take on various roles when needed.\n - Engage with personnel, visitors, and agencies as necessary.\n - Function independently while demonstrating integrity and flexibility.\n\n- Physical Requirements:\n - Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, and move intermittently throughout your shift.\n - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\nShift Information:\n- NOC 4pm-4:30am\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
