If you're passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes and transforming the infrastructure landscape, we want you on our team.About the role:Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support capital Transmission and Distribution projects within a utility and infrastructure environment. This role will support project delivery teams by assisting with cost controls, schedule management, SAP project structures, and project reporting across multiple active capital projects.This position can be based in Portland, OR where you will work closely with project managers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution and governance compliance.Responsibilities will include:Provide project controls support across multiple capital project teams within a utility infrastructure environmentPull and analyze project cost data from SAP and assist with variance tracking and resolution recommendationsMonitor project performance against plan and identify schedule or cost deviations for project leadershipAssist with maintaining compliance with corporate governance standards and project controls proceduresCreate and maintain project schedules using Microsoft scheduling tools and related software platformsCreate and maintain SAP project structures and support project financial tracking activitiesCoordinate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders to support project delivery objectivesAssist with ad hoc reporting, project analysis, and project controls support functions as neededSupport project managers with schedule updates, project reporting, and ongoing project coordination effortsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 3 years of project controls, project coordination, cost controls, or related experiencePrevious experience supporting utility, energy, transmission, or infrastructure-related projectsWorking knowledge of SAP and project financial tracking processesExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and project scheduling toolsUnderstanding of project scheduling processes and construction project lifecyclesAbility to analyze data, identify variances, and support resolution of project issuesStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment across multiple organizational levelsWhat you can expect:A collaborative business environment, where every voice is heard and supported.Opportunities for personal and professional advancement.Buddy and mentorship program.Continuous learning and professional development, in all stages of your career.Opportunities for relocation, nationally and internationally.Healthy work/life balance.A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k matching, paid vacation and more.
