Production Supervisor IIJob Category: Mfg OperationsFull-TimeOn-siteVersailles, KY 40383, USADescriptionKey Job Responsibilities:Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by exampleEnsure product quality meets internal and external specificationsEnsure team maintain and operate equipment following procedures and best practices as defined in the control planConduct process and product audits according to the work instructionsConfirm changeovers are following proper set-up procedure according to work instructionsLead the team to be labor efficient during the entire shift and during any type of troubleshootingCommunicate concerns, improvements and general information to the Area ManagerEfficiently communicate when there is a troubleshooting and problem solving of manufacturing problems in the operationsProvide support to the process improver and line leader in pursuit of continuous improvementFulfill assignments/tasks given by Area ManagerActively participate in area problem solving teams and other groups as necessary to achieve production goals.Review inventory and schedule.Plan and communicate production needs to the team to ensure all production requirements are met and ensure a good pass down before each shift.Provide training and guidance to team members according to procedures and best practices to achieve short and long-term goals.Coordinate 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness.Audit employee time records and correct as needed using UltiPro.Administer coaching and progressive discipline as needed in compliance with the facility work rules.Top 3 Competencies Needed for Success in the Role:Passion for Excellence Taking responsibility and ownership for achieving results and objectives while demonstrating a sense of urgency, drive and personal commitment.Innovation & Change Open to change and actively interested in new developments, technology and emerging market trends while inspiring and generating innovative ideas and solution to enhance business results.Influential Conveys information and ideas to others while building rapport and making a positive and credible impact thru active listening skills and taking interest in the views and ideas of others and ensures proposals address others' needs and priorities.Qualifications Required:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines.Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Safety and goal oriented.Demonstrated leadership skills.Demonstrated personal computer skillsQualifications Desired:5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing.Automotive glass experienceAuthority and responsibility for quality for this position is defined in the Quality Manual/local documentation and apply as appropriate.
