Job Description: The HVAC Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our HVAC division. This role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring high standards of service delivery, managing a team of technicians and support staff, and ensuring that operations align with company goals and industry best practices. Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee all HVAC operations including installation, maintenance, and repair services. Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of HVAC technicians and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities. Project Oversight: Manage HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications. Customer Relations: Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally. Inventory and Equipment Management: Ensure that necessary tools, equipment, and inventory are available and properly maintained. Manage procurement and inventory control processes. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Budget Management: Monitor and manage operational budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. Implement cost-control measures and optimize resource allocation. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operations, including job progress, expenses, and personnel performance. Prepare regular reports for senior management. Proven experience in HVAC operations management or a similar role within the industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and maintenance procedures. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in using HVAC software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools. Understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Bachelor’s degree in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
