About the Role As an End to End Associate Solutions Architect you will shape and deliver the transformational architecture strategy of Thomson Reuters's multi-billion dollar programs, enabling commercial services to be onboarded through digital channels and enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities Be a Technical Leader: research and recommend technical standards and best practices; work with technology teams and beyond to realize implementation.
Be a Stakeholder Manager: collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, and project management to define roadmaps; act as point of contact to resolve issues.
Be a Decision Maker: make data-driven decisions, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and roll out strategy aligned with company goals.
Be a Team Player: work collaboratively, share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams.
Be Curious & Innovative: continuously update yourself with next-generation technology and contribute to process development practices.
Be Agile: work in a fast-paced environment to deliver solutions against strict timelines.
Be an Effective Communicator: clearly articulate complex technical issues, participate in peer reviews, exhibit strong listening skills, and translate requirements into actionable architectures.
Architectural Strategy & Roadmap: define and update solution roadmaps, design architecture for future and existing enterprise transformation programmes, ensuring components fit overall strategy.
Architecture Governance: work as part of Design Authority, with vendor partners, and Solution Review board to ensure governed solutions.
Qualifications Wide variety of solutions architecture experience across multiple business contexts.
Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate.
Experience working with agile teams, methodologies, and globally distributed teams.
Solid experience in CRM and Self-Service platforms, integration of CRM to Self-Service, integration of CRM to ERP, middleware, web content management systems, and application security best practices.
Experience with Blue Chip clients.
Development or systems background with experience across full project lifecycle.
Experience developing solution architectures, preparing and maintaining business process, data model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
Experience managing or directing work of others to achieve a shared goal.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive mindset.
Organized and methodical approach.
Experience defining target architecture designs and roadmaps.
Experience data migration between systems and analysis to support application performance issues.
Good understanding of AWS cloud services: Lambda, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL and S3.
Required Degree level (BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in a Technical or Business discipline.
Preferred Certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework.
Certification in AWS or other Cloud vendors.
