CNC Mill Setup/Operator

This position is for our primary shift and we are looking for someone to to start immediately. The shift is from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with the opportunity for overtime. The right candidate will understand the importance of extreme precision and following directions, and must have experience working as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines. A successful candidate will have a long-term commitment to our organization and an ability to multitask effectively and follow instructions precisely. Must be able to stand for the entire shift, lift material up to 50 pounds, and place it into the CNC. Must be able to visually inspect parts as well as perform basic inspection measurements. Must be able to hear alarms and tool breakage. Responsibilities: Touch off tools on the machine. Operate the machine to make parts. Read blueprints and other instructions. Be consistent and accurate in executing instructions. Communicate work instructions to colleagues. Qualifications Blueprint reading Mechanical knowledge Manufacturing experience Machining skills Experience with Calipers and Micrometer Familiarity with precision measuring instruments Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controllers Ability to operate a CNC milling machine Understanding of GD&T and CAM programming Basic math skills Experience with quality control processes Must be able to stand and lift for entire shift Must be able to see and hear machines and tools Must be able to communicate effectively Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Work Location: In person
