Teacher of the Deaf in Antioch, TN

This opportunity is for a full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing position within a school setting in the Franklin area of Tennessee. The role requires a Tennessee teaching license with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement. The contract position is available immediately with an anticipated end date of May 22, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of HearingDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needsCollaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student successMonitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyUtilize assistive technology and communication methods appropriate for DHH studentsQualifications and Experience:Valid Tennessee teaching license with DHH endorsementExperience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred, ranging from 0 to 10+ yearsStrong communication and collaborative skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standardsCommitment to fostering an inclusive learning environmentLocation: Franklin area, TennesseeAssignment Type: Contract - On-site onlySchedule: Full-Time, hours per week TBDCaseload: To be determined based on assignment
