Today, Endeavour is deploying solutions that are immediately scalable and deliver both high financial returns and positive impact, including EV charging, waterless data center cooling, and advanced energy systems.OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead air permitting and environmental compliance for edge and large-scale data center projects. This role combines regulatory permitting expertise with environmental compliance to keep development timelines on track while meeting all state and federal requirements for Edged Datacenters in the United States.ResponsibilitiesManage air permitting processes for data center facilities, including permits for backup generators, emergency engines, and related emission sourcesPrepare and submit permit applications to state and federal agencies; track through approvalLead environmental permitting for new site development, from initial site assessment through permit issuanceOversee and manage third-party consultants and contractors performing permitting work, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time submittalsEnsure ongoing compliance with air, water, and waste regulations across project lifecycleSupport field operations during construction and commissioning to maintain environmental complianceSupport environmental compliance audits and manage corrective actionsCoordinate wildlife, water, and waste management requirements as needed for site developmentInterface with regulators, project managers, and contractorsQualificationsBachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field10+ years of environmental compliance experience, ideally in energy, oil & gas, or infrastructureDemonstrated air permitting expertise (Title V, minor source, PSD/NSR familiarity a plus)Working knowledge of state and federal waste, water, and air regulationsField experience supporting operations and complianceStrong background in compliance auditingExperience managing outside consultants or contractors on permitting deliverables and environmental complianceAbility to manage multiple permits and deadlines across sitesPreferredExperience with generator/engine air permittingMulti-state permitting experienceFamiliarity with data center or industrial facility developmentEEO StatementEdged is an equal opportunities employer.
