Payroll Associate

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Payroll Associate is responsible for the weeklycompiling and processing of in-house payroll for 600+ employees.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Review Weekly Timesheets To Ensure Allemployees are paid accurately in accordance with agreements Process ACHand employee pay stubs Update employee information in payroll accountingsoftware Report and reconcile multi-Union benefits Report and reconcilemulti-state and Federal employee taxes Process employee child supportand garnishments Assist with state and union audits Address inquiriesfrom employees, unions, and taxing authorities Maintain compliance withRegulatory Requirements Other Duties As Assigned. QUALIFICATIONS &REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent and 2-5years of advanced payroll. College level courses in payroll, accounting,Or Business Preferred. Experience Processing Payroll In Constructionindustry preferred. Familiarity with Viewpoint software a plus.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to work bothindependently with minimal supervision and in a team-orientedenvironment.
