We emphasize professionalism, sound code interpretation, and practical field experience.Position Overview CAI is seeking an experienced Commercial Building Code Inspector to join our team. This position involves a combination of commercial inspections and plan review. The role requires independent decision making, strong code knowledge, and the ability to manage active projects without constant oversight. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with contractors, design professionals, and municipal clients while maintaining consistent and defensible code enforcement.Compensation and Benefits Range typically between $75,000 and $120,000 based on experience and certifications Compensation includes Sign on bonus for qualified candidates Performance based bonuses paid multiple times per year Benefits include Health, dental, and vision insurance payed by employer 401k 3 weeks paid time offWork Environment This position is based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and involves a mix of field inspections and office based plan review.
