Earthwork Foreman
SEMA Construction is seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman for a traveling heavy civil project starting in Herington, KS. This role oversees crews of 2–10 employees and is responsible for safety, quality, production, and schedule.
Responsibilities
Supervise earthwork crews and daily operations
Grade checking and time entry for crew members
Read blueprints and ensure work accuracy
Operate and train others on heavy equipment safely
Manage multiple tasks on active job sites
Travel within KS/OK/TX/NE and potentially additional states
Rotation schedule: home every 3 weeks
Qualifications
5+ years heavy civil construction experience
5+ years supervising earthwork crews
5+ years heavy equipment operation
Strong communication and leadership skills
Clean MVR; able to pass background check and drug tests
Knowledge of industry regulations and technology
Positive attitude and commitment to safety
