Maintenance Manager
Job Description
Description:Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (typically)Key Responsibilities:· Team leadership: Manage, train, and supervise maintenance staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a safe work environment. Work directly with the vendors to achieve proper outcomes.· Maintenance and repair: Oversee all maintenance procedures, including scheduling preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and managing installation of new systems.· Operational efficiency: Analyze current processes, implement measures to minimize breakdowns, and troubleshooting problems to reduce downtime.· Safety and compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conduct safety inspections, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.· Budget and inventory: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, control parts inventory, and negotiate with vendors for parts and services.· Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history. Comply with out regulatory procedures.· Collaboration: Work with other departments and leadership to support production goals and ensure plant reliability. Work with the Plant managers to ensure business needs are met.Requirements:Required Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent.· Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, including technical processing and troubleshooting.· Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.· 4 years of Industrial electrical experience.· Proficient in Microsoft productsRequired Skills and Competencies:· Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential.· Leadership and management: Experience in leading, training, and motivating a team is crucial.· Budgeting: The ability to develop and manage a departmental budget is required.· Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are needed to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.· Safety focus: A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations is critical for this role.· Communication: Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, vendors, and other departments
