Coterra is hiring a Pipeline Operator for our Carlsbad locations.JOB SUMMARYAs a Pipeline Operator at Coterra, you are responsible for assisting with and performing duties related to the daily operations and maintenance of company owned pipelines including both gas and water systems. You will assist with pipeline maintenance projects such as pigging operations, start-ups, shut-downs and routine maintenance on compressors and water disposal equipment as well as other pipeline components and systems. This position is located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Assists with and performs pigging operations at various checkpoints on pipeline* Assists with and maintains dehydration systems on the pipeline* Monitors and assists with compressor station operations* Assists with and monitors various flow control equipment on gas and water systems* Performs preventative pipeline facility maintenance* Assists with troubleshooting of related subsystems, including startups, shut-downs and combustion control issues* Assists with and operates meter stations, pipeline facilities, disposal facilities, corrosion control and right-of-way maintenance as necessary
