This intermediate-level role is responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, bid evaluations, and materials management functions supporting both planned and forced outages.The ideal candidate will have experience with procurement systems such as Maximo/Emax and/or PASSPORT/CAS, along with a strong understanding of competitive bidding, contract administration, and supply chain compliance processes within a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage procurement of materials and services supporting nuclear plant operations.Conduct competitive bidding events and perform bid evaluations using procurement best practices.Negotiate contract terms and issue purchase orders/contracts in accordance with Supply Chain procedures.Expedite purchase orders and resolve invoice mismatches, pricing discrepancies, quantity issues, and logistics challenges.Support materials management strategies including inventory reduction initiatives and material transfers.Build and maintain supplier relationships while ensuring supplier agreement compliance and value-added service delivery.Serve as liaison between suppliers and business units to support operational schedules and outage requirements.Provide procurement guidance and sourcing recommendations to internal stakeholders.Analyze supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly procurement and supply chain reports.Support planned and forced nuclear outages through procurement coordination and material tracking.Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company procurement standards.Required Qualifications:Experience with Maximo/Emax and/or PASSPORT/CAS preferred.Knowledge of competitive bidding, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.Experience supporting industrial, utility, energy, or nuclear operations preferred.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of related work experienceORAssociate Degree + 4 years of related work experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED + 6 years of related work experience
