Job title: HAZOPS EngineerLocation: Luling, TX (onsite)Conduct hazard analyses using methodologies like FMEA, HAZOP, and What-If Analysis.Develop and implement controls for hazards identified.Provide technical expertise on hazardous materials and processes.Chemical, Mechanical, or Process EngineeringResponsibilities:Perform complex hazards analysis assignments in support of the development, testing, and manufacturing of hazardous materialsApply physics-based approach to risk identification and mitigationSupport concept, design, and process hazards analyses in response to contract data item requirements and regulatory needsProvide a basis for safety waivers and regulatory interpretation and deviation.Often function in a consulting and SME role as it relates to the risks associated with design and development of product and processes using highly hazardous materialsWork across multiple organizations to establish policies and procedures focused on risk reduction and hazard controlQualifications:BS Engineering or Physics minimum8+ year experience with energetic materials minimumStrong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communicator and team leaderStrong working knowledge MIL-STD-882, DoD4145, OSHA, and NFPA RegulationJob Posted by ApplicantPro
