The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with shop floor teams.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with shop floor teams to support daily manufacturing operationsRead and interpret engineering drawings and prints accuratelyDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiencyDevelop and implement standard work instructionsPerform time studies, line balancing, and Yamazumi analysisSupport process improvements and cost reduction initiativesDesign and develop tools, fixtures, and manufacturing aidsEnsure adherence to safety standards and practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance)Use basic metrology tools (calipers, measuring tape, straight edge) for validationCommunicate effectively with shop floor operators (“shop talk”)RequirementsLean Manufacturing & Continuous ImprovementProcess Improvement & Industrial Engineering fundamentalsTime Study, Line Balancing, Yamazumi ChartTool / Fixture DesignStandard Work DevelopmentStrong shop floor communication skillsAbility to work independently and in teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in Automotive or Agricultural ManufacturingExposure to Fiberglass processesHands-on shop floor experience
