Experienced Bartender

Experienced Bartender – Howell Tavern We are looking for a reliable, experienced bartender to join our team at a busy Howell tavern. The ideal candidate is friendly, fast-paced, knowledgeable about beer, spirits, and craft cocktails, and committed to providing excellent customer service in a welcoming neighborhood environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and craft cocktails Create quality, consistent drinks with attention to presentation and taste Provide excellent customer service and create a friendly atmosphere for guests Check identification to verify legal drinking age Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Handle cash, credit transactions, and POS system accurately Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service Restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and bar supplies Contribute ideas for seasonal or specialty craft cocktails (preferred) Work as part of a team to maintain a positive work environment Follow all health and safety regulations Qualifications: Previous bartending experience required (2+ years preferred) Knowledge of craft cocktails, mixology techniques, and drink presentation Familiarity with local and craft beer selections (a plus) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual Must be able to work nights and weekends TIPS certification (preferred) What we offer: Competitive hourly pay plus tips Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Opportunity to help develop drink menus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
