Litigation Counsel / Partner - Business Litigations

An active and expanding Northern New Jersey law firm is seeking a Litigation Counsel or Partner to support a busy business litigation practice with sustained demand across ongoing matters. This role is geared toward a driven litigator with eight or more years of experience handling complex commercial disputes who is ready to step into a more meaningful, hands on position within a collaborative, forward thinking platform. You will work directly with business clients across New Jersey, the tri state area, and beyond, taking ownership of matters. This is a role created by increased client demand, not replacement.The ideal candidate brings strong experience handling partner level business disputes, including shareholder and partnership matters, contract disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. First chair trial experience is required, with exposure to white collar or regulatory related litigation viewed as a plus. You will play a visible role in the continued growth of the practice.The platform is built for entrepreneurial attorneys who want to operate in a non siloed, high touch environment with direct partner access and meaningful responsibility from day one. The firm delivers practical, business oriented solutions and is seeking a litigator who can contribute immediately to an active workflow while building long term value. No portable book of business is required. For someone who can develop strategy, manage cases from inception through resolution, and operate with a high level of autonomy, this role offers a clear path to meaningful growth within the firm.Admission to the bar in New Jersey is required. New York admission is optional but preferred. Compensation includes a base salary of $200K to $250K, plus bonus, a business development budget, comprehensive benefits, and additional upside tied to overall contributions and originations over time.J.
