This role supports lead scaffold builders by handling materials, following safety procedures, and ensuring scaffolding is erected according to plans and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the erection, dismantling, and modification of scaffolding structuresCarry, load, and unload scaffolding components such as pipes, planks, frames, braces, and fittingsHand tools and materials to scaffold builders during installationFollow OSHA and site-specific safety regulations at all timesInspect scaffolding materials for damage or defects and report issuesSecure scaffolding components using appropriate tools and hardwareMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaUse basic hand and power tools (wrenches, hammers, drills, levels)Work at various heights and assist with tying off scaffolding as requiredCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersRequirements:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious construction or scaffolding experience a plus (not always required)Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environmentsPhysically able to lift 50–75 lbs, climb, bend, and stand for long periodsWillingness to follow instructions and learn scaffolding systemsStrong awareness of jobsite safety practicesReliable attendance and punctualityPreferred Qualifications:OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationBasic understanding of scaffold components and load capacitiesExperience in industrial, commercial, or refinery environmentsBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusWork Environment:Construction and industrial jobsitesExposure to heights, weather conditions, dust, and noiseUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) required#PRTF
