Perform other manufacturing tasks as needed and assigned.ResponsibilitiesLoad parts into jig in the correct sequence.Monitor robot operation.Inspect all parts produced.Perform hand welding as required.Prepare robot for next production lot by setting jig and setting robot program.Keep work area clean and organized.Follow company safety procedures and other policies.Change welding wire when required.Report any and all safety concerns or issues to the immediate attention of supervisor.Troubleshoot and determine root cause, to include analysis, and diagnosis of robotic equipment.Interpret and respond to robot event messages.Perform robot program storage and retrieval.Properly start up and shut down robot.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1 year of welding experience preferredPrevious experience in a related role preferredAbility to work quickly and accuratelyAble to work as part of a teamAble to work with limited supervisionQuality standards must be strictly adhered to, so attention to detail is extremely importantBasic understanding of blueprints requiredRegular and reliable attendancePhysical RequirementsThe employee is required to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods of time. Employee will be required to reach or lift up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required.Position is subject to substantial movements of the wrists, hands, or fingers.The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines such as lathes where the seeing job is within arm’s reach.The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.Exposure to chemicals, moving, mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels sometimes required.Dowding Industries, Inc.
