Saw Operator/Warehouse Worker - 2 Needed - Second/Third Shift

Job DescriptionA large steel service center is offering immediate, full-time positions for both a Saw Operator and Warehouse Worker to work either second or third shift.Job Duties:Operate saw machine to products parts, ensure size, material finish, and accuracy of finished productsAssist with truck loading and unloading when neededComplete all paperwork for shipping and receivingPull and stage stock for production orders and for shippingPackage materials according to customer requirementsOperate a forklift, side loader, or crane to move materialsConduct daily inspections on all equipment and machinesEffectively train other on saws, work cell, or other functionsMaintain good housekeeping, work in a safe manner, and use all safety equipmentPerform other duties as neededJob RequirementsQualifications:Must have at least 2 years experience operating Saw Machines and working in a warehouse Must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane; Certification requiredMust be able to complete all paperwork accurately and on timeMust be computer literate and detail-orientedMust have the ability to maintain good housekeeping skills, work in a safe manner, and use all safety equipment as providedMust be able to complete Basic Skill Assessment and physical requirements for vision, hearing, lifting, and mobilityMust have a solid work history with no attendance issuesOnly candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
